I have a desk! next step, bookshelves so I can put the rest of my crap away, but I have a desk! I actually have the bookshelf, I just have to clean up my shit enough so that I can actually put it together and put it somewhere. I'll have to rearrange my room a little bit, but it will fit. I'll just have to find someplace for my socks and underwear though. |

| Another reason I hate fall |

There are so many reasons for me to hate fall, but another one that I am experiencing right now is that there is no heat! The temperature is fluctuating too much for the landlords to turn on the heat, so I get to just sit here bundled up under blankets while my entire apartment is an ice box! |

My room is starting to annoy me. Well, maybe not my room, just my poor organizational skills. All of my clothes are on my floor and my closet and shelves are literally bare. I should remedy this situation *yawn* tomorrow... maybe. But then I would have to stop using boxes as my desk... |

So, I'm looking for a new email address that I can make that would be fun, but I need ideas for what it should be, here's the requirement, the domain is "@me.com" so I'm looking for an interesting/funny expression that involves @me.com. Anyone have any ideas? Help me brainstorm, and hopefully I'll be able to get one that isn't already taken.

So, I've discovered where I am! well, at least what it's called. I finally learned that I live in Manhattan Valley. This used to be Bloomingdale District, which was named after the Bloomingdale Mental Institute which was where Columbia is now, but nope, just Manhattan Valley. It's settled, so there. |

So, I just registered for a Digg account, yes, I know, I'm way behind everyone else on the planet, but I'm here now. Anyway, as part of the registration it asks for your gender. Now my initial reaction was "well, why the hell should I put that" but that only lasted until I saw that it was a required field. When I clicked on the pull down menu, I was actually surprised. It had "male" and "female" but then it also had 14 other options including "dude", "damsel", "grrrl", "transgendered" and "none of the above". Go Digg! |

So, I recorded the Super Bowl on my Tivo-like-object for the sole purpose of watching the commercials. I have to say, I was INCREDIBLY disappointed. The commercials were LAME. I had seen many of the commercials before and many of them were repeated a number of times. You'd think that companies could hire decent people to create inventive ideas for the supper bowl, but no, I guess the writer's strike is having more effects than I realize. But still.... LAME.
At least since it was recorded I could fast forward through the actual football and only watch the commercials. I think i remember who was playing or something, it was the Dwarfs vs. the Anarchists, right? And someone won? Or something? |
